Megan Ruth: My Birthday-what happens in vegas stays in vegas

I have some amazing friends and family that made my 21st birthday the best ever. First off my friends all planned to go to st. george the weekend of my birthday. So after natalie taking me to breakfast shay nicole kati and sadee came and sarenaded me beforew we started off on the drive to st. george. We picked up marybeth, mar, keely,and toni and started the drive. i even drove most of the way without any crashes!!!!! :) We had so much fun in st. george. We sat by the pools for hours(i even got some color!!!), did a good amount of shopping, visited my favorite candy store, and even went to my favorite fabric store ever!!! I have already started my quilt with the fabrics i bought!!!! We had so much fun just hanging out and doing the girl thing!! it was such a great break after this last semester. The only problem was vegas. when they say WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS they mean it... well i guess ours is more like what goes to vegas stays in vegas. We decided it would be fun to go to vegas for a day. See the strip you know, maybe i'd gamble a little since i am now 21, well the time in vegas was so fun. until we got to the car. We got to mals car at like 10 o clock thinking we'd better get back when her car doesn't start... we tried to jump it and it worked. we thought we were in the clear. until we get in the middle lane on las vegas blvd. which is the strip and her car dies again. there is no hope. shay finds a cop and tried to get him to help her but no luck the cop didn't want to help, that is until he realized we were blocking traffic then he helped us move the car into a parking lot that we weren't allowed to park on still in the middle of the strip. this is when we all started stressing. this car was gonner!!! :( my friend mal couldn't make up her mind what to do with the car so by now it's 11:30 and we are in the middle of a saturday night on the strip, let me tell ya not the greatest place :). mal sat there for an hour with out deciding what to do. we were all so frustrated. kati luckily knew someone who came and helped us. Bryce, he saved us. he helped us get the car working and took it to his house to stay the night til malorie could come get it the next day. We didn't get to his house until like 2, but at least we weren't on the strip. we headed back to st. george and got there at about 5:30. Needless to say not the best night sleep i've ever had. :) but we all made it home in one peice. and had such a great time overall, i have great friends. Then that night my family had a little party for me!!!! i have such a great family that loves and supports me no matter what i want to do in my life. They are amazing and know me so well. i love them all so much!!!!i'd put the pictures up of that but i don't look so amazing.
