So for my Intro to Liturature class we had to write poems for the final and read them aloud... and as far as being a poet when i grow up... i think i would do a pretty good job. :) maybe... i'll let all of you folks be the judge. here are my poems. i think some of them are pretty funny so i thought i'd share... the first two are a few ideas of how i might die... i really thought this first one would come true... it's didnt thank goodness

Overworked Sue
Here lies Overworked Sue,
She just had too much to do.
Homework consumed her days and her nights too.
Studying became so much, she didn’t have time to use the lue.
What ever will she do?
Overworked Sue,
She died, and now she has nothing to do.



Pool Fool
This is the story of how I was such a fool.
I thought I would just skip a little school,
to hang out by the pool.
It was a scorching day and the water just looked so cool,
So I jumped in not wanting to look uncool,
Forgetting I don’t know how to swim, it was like I was in preschool.
And now I am dead, oh what a fool?


This might be my favorite poem i wrote...
Summer Has Come
Sunshine finally pouring down.
Under the water we will soon go.
Madie, Kya, and Me.
Moving though all the grass, trees, and flowers we can find.
Everyday will be a new adventure.
Racing into streams and rivers.

Having picnics everyday.
As long as the sun is shining, we will be playing.
Summer is finally here.

Cooling down now.
Oh, how sad it is to see it go.
More adventure next year.
Every summer must come to an end.


This next one is the same backwards and forewards, it was way hard. it's a mirror poem. this is why some parts dont make sense... but hey i did my best.
Living
Living-
Is this.
Stressful but good.
Continually traveling,
ups and downs, happiness and sorrows.
Yes, always happy we will be.
Smiling is happiness, giving hope.
Life
Hope. Giving happiness is smiling.
Be. Will we? Happy always? Yes.
Sorrows and happiness, downs and ups,
Traveling continually.

These are the poetry works of MEGAN STORY... okay so im not the greatest poet but writing these was kind of fun. and hey i guess i can always fall back on my excellent poetry skills if teaching doesn't work... right???? :S
