One Week

I am officially leaving in one week from today!!! i am getting super anxious. It's exciting to be so close to leaving. I'm not gonna lie it's gonna be so hard to not see all the people i love and care about, but i know it will be worthwhile and a great experience. I've had so much fun spending time with family and friends lately. i got to have a little girls sleepover the other night and it was so so so so so fun!!!!!!!!!!! It's crazy to thinkt that these times will be the last for a while!!!! I know what i'm doing is right and the best thing for me to do right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i couldnt be more excited or eager!

NEW BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!

So for those of you who may want to know what i am up to in San Diego... i've made a new blog... someone will be posting letters and pics i send on this new blog... missionarymegan.blogspot.com. So if you get curious just check this out!!!!!!! :) and P.s. IM DONE WORKING!!! i am no longer an employee of brick oven!!!!!! YAY. it came with mixed feelings. i am so glad to no longer have to wear and apron or smell like pizza all the time. but i have made some AMAZING friends their and i loved Everyone i worked with... so on to different things 2 and half weeks til im gone!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

This is the family vacation that we had... it was such a blast. I had such a good time with my amazing family. I am so LUCKY to have such an amazing family that loves and supports me in all that i do and i love them so much.... how many people can say that they really do LOVE thier brother and sister in laws... ME i can.... i have a great family!!!!!

Can I Look You Up on Facebook??

It used to be that if a boy was interested he would ask for your number.... not anymore. true story a boy recently asked can i look you up on facebook??? this is not appealing to a girl. Just ask us for our numbers. it makes life a lot easier. It seems that facebook now rules our lives. between singles wards and facebook... oh man our dating is messed up. it's either asking to go to ward prayer for a first date, or playing farm town together on facebook. this is not what girls are looking for. We want real live human interactions!!!! like just come talk to us. ya know. get to know me. we can be real life friends like hang out not just facebook chat. so this is my message of the night. :) i'm really not that cynical i just thought it was hilarious. we dont need phones cuz we have facebook. :)

Called to Serve....

Although i did wait one whole day to open my call it really did come... and even though i opened it in my brick oven uniform... IM HAPPY! i am called to serve in the SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA MISSION and as a part of that will be working in the Mormon Battalion visitors center!!!!! i can not be more excited!!! i think my mom keeps worrying that im disapointed, but not at all. i am going where the lord wants me and nothing can excite me more!!! im nervous but ready. i am really excited too to serve in a visitors center. as my grandma put it... The best of both worlds!!!!!! the lord does know us.. NO COLD WEATHER!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im happy. thank you to everyone who has been so suportive!!! i love you all!

They are in....

My mission papers are officially submitted!!! It's for reals now! I'm getting so excited to see what the future 18 months holds for me and where i will be going! Im so excited to go serve and let others know about gospel that has made me so happy. i know it will be hard but im up for the challenge. COME WHAT MAY... AND LOVE IT!!!!! so i will let you all know where whenever i get the call. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
